On your arrival in Cairo – the sprawling capital city of Egypt., you will discover the best of Egypt with an Egyptologist tour guide. Your Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Cairo

Upon arrival Cairo Airport, meet our representative who will assist in the customs' formalities and transfer to a pre-booked hotel on a shared basis in a bus/coach (seat-in-coach or SIC basis). Check-in at the hotel (standard check-in time is 3 pm) and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can either relax in the comfortable hotel room or head to Wikalat al-Balah (at your own expense) for shopping. You may buy souvenirs for loved ones back home. As night falls, retire to the comfortable hotel room.

Day 02: Cairo Sightseeing Tour | Overnight Train to Aswan

After breakfast, your guided Sightseeing Tour begins on a shared basis in a bus/coach (seat-in-coach or SIC basis). You will start the day with an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza with your guide. Located on the edge of the windswept desert, it is the world's tallest man-made structure for more than 3,500 years. Your guide briefs you about the history of pyramids and the mysteries surrounding their construction. You can enjoy the sites of tomb of Pharaoh Khufu, along with the two neighboring pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and Lord of the Sphinx which stands tall in front of the Pyramid of Chephren. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Egyptian Museum and see the famous Tutankhamun collection and sarcophagus. Before returning to the hotel, you can visit the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. While filling your bags with souvenirs, take in the fragrance of exotic perfumes, spices and watch local craftsmen at work. After Cairo Sightseeing tour, you will get transferred to Railway Station and board the train to Awan.

Day 03: Cruise Nile River & explore High Dam, Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk

After breakfast, de board the train and head to the Nile River Cruise in a coach/bus (seat-in-coach or SIC basis), Aswan - the place where the desert meets the Nile river. Egypt's southernmost city, Aswan was once a prosperous marketplace where goods were traded. Upon arrival at the Airport, meet our representative who will assist your transfer to the cruise terminal to board the Nile Cruise (around 11 am). Discover the Nile and its wonders like never before during this cruise. While on the cruise, disembark at the architectural masterpiece - High Dam (Aswan Dam), which was constructed between 1960 and 1970 to separate Lake Nasser from the Nile. Up next, make your way to the Philae Temple, dedicated to Goddess Isis. Witness treasures like the Chapel of Isis, Chapel of Osiris and Temple of Horus while strolling through this vast site. Then, you will head to the Unfinished Obelisk. Up next, you will board the cruise and enjoy a scenic ride on the river Nile .After dinner, unwind and watch the sweeping river views from the deck.

Day 04: Sail to Kom Ombo Temple

Wake up early morning to see the sun gliding above the horizon. After having breakfast you will get ready for a guided excursion to the Kom Ombo Temple, which is divided between the two gods - Sobek (the crocodile God) and Horus (the falcon-headed God). See its double entrance and learn more about its dedication to the Gods Sobek and Horus. Your guide will brief you about the 300 mummified crocodiles found here during the restoration process, some of which are now exhibited in the Crocodile Museum in the Temple complex. Also, look out for an engraving which is thought to be among the first representations of medical and surgical instruments. After discovering astonishingly well-preserved structures, head to the cruise for dinner and then unwind in your comfortable room.

Day 05: Visit Edfu Temple, Karnak temple and Luxor Temple

After breakfast, you will visit Egypt’s ancient relics and monuments starting with Edfu Temple , one of the best-preserved temples in the country. Here you will see the imposing sand structures, constructed in honor of Horus - the falcon-headed God of war and the statues of Gods and Pharaohs while wandering around the inner sanctuary of the Temple. Then, you will board the cruise for lunch. After lunch you will visit the Karnak Temple, an extraordinary temple complex of sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons and obelisks dedicated to the Theban triad. It is particularly famous for its vast complex and necropolis, which is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. At the same time you will also visit the Temple of Amun-Ra - one of the world's largest religious complexes, which is known for its hypostyle hall. Then, you will head to the impressive Luxor Temple, considered to be amongst the most beautiful Temples in Egypt. Built around 1400 BC, the Temple is popular for its columns, courts and statues. For nearly half a century, this area was the burial ground for important royal figures. After strolling around the famous sights of Luxor Temple , the 'world's greatest open-air museum', you will head back to the cruise. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in hotel

Day 06: Completion of Nile Cruise, Visit West Bank and Flight back to Cairo

After breakfast on board, we will complete Nile River Cruise and proceed for West Bank Tour. Here you will visit the 18th Dynasty built a pyramid-like structure at Abydos, known as Biban el-Muluk. Thereafter you will visit Hatshepsut Temple, mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Then you will proceed to Colossiare of Memnon, the two gigantic figures of Amenhotep III situated in front of his Mortuary temple. It was made of sandstone but later it was destroyed. Finally you will visit Karnak temple quite known during the Middle Kingdom period as Ipt-Swt, which means the Selected Spot. After completing West Bank tour you will be transfer by air conditioned vehicles to Luxor airport to take Cairo flight On arrival in Cairo , you will spend the rest of the day at Leisure.

Day 07: Final departure from Cairo

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel (standard check-out* time is 11 am) and spend the morning at the Great Pyramids of Giza; Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, and the defending Sphinx and later make your way to the Cairo Airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
